CHAD GRACEY of +LIVE+ Signs with Drum Workshop (DW) Coinciding with Band’s Upcoming Summer Tour of Arenas and Amphitheatres

Chad Gracey of +LIVE+, known as one of the most respected drummers in the world and the heartbeat of the multi-platinum alternative rock band, has signed with Drum Workshop (DW).

The first show Gracey performed with DW drums was March 12 at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles. Both +LIVE+ and Bush played at a private event pegged to the recent announcement that both groups will co-headline arenas and amphitheatres this summer celebrating the 25th anniversary of their respective landmark albums (Throwing Copper and Sixteen Stone). Billed asThe ALT-IMATE Tour, it kicks off June 6th in Mashantucket, CT with stops inBoston, Los Angeles, Atlanta and more before wrapping September 8th inRochester, MI.

“We’re incredibly honored to welcome Chad to the DW Family,” says Scott Donnell, Vice President of Global Marketing of Drum Workshop. “He and his band have had an extraordinary career thus far, and we’re thrilled to be part of their continuing musical journey.”

“I am so excited to be joining the DW family,” says Chad Gracey (recently profiled in Modern Drummer).  “Their drums sound and look incredible, and I can’t wait to play them on our summer tour as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Throwing Copper.”
