j.Views Releases “Why”

Polymathic artist J.Views makes a beautiful entry into 2019 with a stunning rework of Annie Lennox’s “Why”, wrapping the track in a blanket of inventive beats decorated by dreamy vocals. The end result is an offering which feels fresh and new, and should serve as testament to keep an eye on J.Views in 2019.  Speaking on the release, J.Views states:

“Even though this is a cover (to Annie Lennox’s 1992 hit), very quickly I connected to her words as if they were my own, and as a result the production and delivery were performed as an original, or, an honouring grandson of an original.”

The track is the follow-up release to “Don’t Pull Away” (feat Rhye’s Mike Milosh), not only in the chronological sense but also stylistically: Subtle emotions, multilayered downtempo beats, soothing yet not ambient, sensual, authentic, and a bit gender-vague. Keep a close on J.Views as he releases more this year.
