Today, Oakland-based artist/producer, Broke For Free, shares a brand new video titled, “Forever Wavvy.” It’s the first visual to be released off his upcoming visual album, BFF, which is due out in May. The single/video, as well with the rest of the vids on the album, was written, directed and produced by Tom himself. Tap into the visual up top and be sure to stay tuned for more news on the upcoming record!
The track has already begun to catch people’s ears before it’s release, with it being used as the theme song to YouTube star, Binging with Babish’ new web series “Being With Babish.”
Here’s what he had to say about the production process for this video: T”he music video was the first I shot. I held onto some whacky inflatable tube men from a GoPro shoot (sorry) and rented a generator for a couple weeks. This was one of the lonesome shoots, just ya boy and the whackies driving around the bay area with a tripod.”
An ode to shower-thought concepts and DE (everything)Y hustle, BFF is an unfiltered peak into a creative’s mind. After working on GoPro’s music content for years, Tom took his pages on pages of film-centric ideas and brought them to life through this audio visual project, BFF. Broke For Free is the musician, producer, director, filmer and editor behind this project.
