Setting out to change the world for the better one song at a time, Malynda Hale released her latest single “Story” with an accompanying music video. The emotive single and video are meant to bring awareness to the mass homeless population of LA, and ultimately work towards lending a hand to and building a positive narrative of those affected. As noted in the video, “As of 2018, there were over 550,000 homeless people in the United States. 53,000 were in Los Angeles county.”
Malynda recently released her latest single “The La La Song,” with an accompanying music video. The track is filled with loving lyrics (originally penned for her husband) and tied together with a bright melody. The singles follow the recent release of her upbeat and inspirational EP “The One.”
The singer and social activist authentically gives herself and her heart on and off stage through her music, melodies and movement. With a mic constantly in the palm of her hand and a vast audience at her fingertips, Malynda has been able to utilize her voice to elicit change on multiple platforms – social justice, female empowerment, homelessness, LGBTQ+ rights, veganism, and the Black Lives Matter movement.
After a successful run creating the femme-empowerment “Boss, Please” Podcast, Malynda is onto her next podcast endeavor with the recent launch of her #WeNeedToTalk Podcast. Malynda has teamed up with co-host Karmel Humphrey (Comedian/Entrepreneur) for the series, which will include discussions of current events and hot topics in politics, entertainment and the latest cultural trends. With their combined forces of activism, Malynda and Karmel will continue to use their voices for change to enlighten and empower their listeners.
