AJ Mutated makes a bold return to ProgRAM with a new pair of tracks this week. He established himself back in 2005 as part of Mutated Forms but is now beginning to carve out a name for himself with solo material.
Staking its place on the D&B imprint is “Bleak” and “Catch 22,” two tunes of equally high calibre. “Bleak” lives firmly up to its name with furious beats and fast-paced builds, whilst “Catch 22” sustains itself over time with a deep, intense rolling vibe.
The producer says: “I wanted to capture a similar feel to some of the angry rollers we were making in 2010, but with a more technologically advanced and better engineered sound.”
