Hi guys, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Fantastic just living that rockstar life baby!

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Slippin’”?

A timeless banger for the streets and an ever important reminder that it’s never a good thing to get caught slippin ????

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

Antony and cleopatra came to us with the vocal at a time where we had all been caught slippin in our personal life’s (were all human at the end of the day lol) so it made perfect sense to get rolling on the song!

Any plans to release a video for the single?

We’re playing with the idea of something for sure!

How was the recording and writing process?

As said before Antony and cleo came to us with the vocal and we loved it so got cracking on it straight away with the production. We felt it needed a special sauce so sent it over to black caviar because they drippin in sauce and did they’re thing!

What was it like to work with Black Caviar and Antony & Cleopatra?

A dream come true looking forward to the next one.

What did they bring to the table?

Ingredients and sauce ????

Do you tend to take a different approach when you are collaborating with someone else rather than on your own?

Yes definitely its easier to focus on the simple things and allow the others to have they’re input and mix it up nicely as opposed to on your own and thinking about every aspect of what makes a song hit.

How do you go on blending your international roots with your underground aesthetic?

They’re plenty of Italian, Persian and Jamaican flavours to take on! We’re heavy on sampling for vibes so we always delve into these cultures for it, Nari used to be in an iranian folk band so we always have Persian samples readily recorded and ready to roll ha.

After the major success each of your work has received recently – does that put any pressure on you or rather the opposite?

Not particularly you can’t force a hit so as long as good music is flowing and getting released to the public consistently there’s no pressure.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

We’ve got a bag of tunes ready to go we’re in a good creative space at the moment so good times ahead.

Any tentative release date or title in mind?

Yep our next single move is coming out on spinnin deep May 10th can’t wait.

Any plans to hit the road?

Yep got a few shows coming up and a whole set of releases ready for the next few months so summer is likely to be real LITT.

What else is happening next in Jaded’s world?

After 8 years we’ve finally moved studios so fully focusing on getting solid material wrapped up for years to come, always looking to secure the bag ????
