No Spirit X fika ft. RickyAtoms Team Up On ‘Better Now’

The next single up on Absent Mind is a soul-drenched contribution from No Spirit and fika. Propertly titled, ‘Better Now’ also brings together the talents of Orlando hailing vocalist RickyAtoms.

Whilst London duo fika has already made an appearance on the label with ‘High’ this is the first time No Spirit has added to their growing catalogue. A group of musicians with a desire to make music that unites whilst combining influences from across the globe, their sound strikes a balance between chilled lo-fi and hip-hop.

‘Better Now’ is an effortlessly warm, languid yet expressive sound. RickyAtoms’ soft rolling tones collide with that low-slung beat and nuances of guitar that bring its sun-soaked melody into a tangible, beautiful feature. Listen here
