Volume 2 of the modern tragedy series follows grandson’s Fueled By Ramen debut EP, a modern tragedy vol. 1and is an exploration into the heart, into addiction, into power, into disillusionment, and into accepting who you are and not compromising.  Marking some of his most personal work to date, a modern tragedy vol. 2 touches on the environment around grandson and serves as a commentary on gun violence, on apathy and sensationalized media, on truth and martyrdom.

grandson is currently in the middle of his sold-out North American headline “No Apologies Tour,” which continues tonight in Houston, TX at White Oak Music Hall. The North American leg of the tour – which features support from Des Rocs and BarlowLN – is set to continue through April 5th where it will wrap-up at Seattle, WA’s Crocodile Cafe (see attached itinerary). Furthermore, grandson has been announced to perform at the highly anticipated Woodstock 50 in Watkins Glen, NY on August 16th.  Additional festival performances slated for this spring include Jacksonville, FL’s Welcome To Rockville (May 5th), Rockingham, NC’s Epicenter Festival (May 11th), and Gulf Shores, AL’s Hangout Fest (May 19th). For complete details and ticket information, please visit

a modern tragedy vol. 1, released this past summer, finds grandson confronting some of the most pressing political and social issues impacting his generation, provoking discourse through a powerful union of art and activism. The five-song EP, which has garnered over 75 million streams, is highlighted by the lead single “Blood // Water”. The track’s official music video – directed by Ride or Cry – is streaming now via the official Fueled By Ramen YouTube channel HERE.

In addition, an official video for the EP’s “6:00” premiered via Billboard.
