MICVH Releases New Music Video For “Copper and Wine”

MICVH’s official music video for her debut single, “Copper and Wine,” is a simple yet beautiful black and white performance interpretation of this song coupled with a handful of playful candid moments.  With just her and an acoustic guitar, MICVH brings you into her world of folk/blues music entangled with her gentle songwriting.

Filmed in Charleston, SC which holds a special place in her heart, this video brings you in from the beginning with the opening shots focused on a few objects surrounding MICVH including her acoustic guitar.  As the verse starts to fade into the pre-chorus, you see MICVH strumming her guitar in slow motion which almost mimics the breezes going through the palm trees outside. We start to get a feel for the playfulness of her spirit when, during the chorus, MICVH tries on a handful of different hats illuminating the whole scene with her smile that turns into a laugh.

The video continues in this rustic yet elegant fashion until the very end, making you want to sit in that cozy room with her, try on some hats, and sip a warm cup of tea while being serenaded by that acoustic guitar strumming out “Copper and Wine.”  “Filming this video brought new, playful, life to this song for me. I’m excited to see how it’s received by the audience” says MICVH.

“Copper and Wine” was written by Micah Cottingham, produced and recorded by Kyle Weirzba. Watch here
