UK-based Bad Sounds are excited to reveal a video for their track “ How Are You Gonna Lose? ” The band directed the clip and in their own words, “We have a rea l soft spot for budget horror and kung fu movies, you can see a recurring style in all our videos and influences in our music too. The inspiration for the video came from watching Dario Argento’s ‘Suspiria’ and falling in love with its aesthetic. It’s a classic case of style over substance but it’s done so well that it’s easy to forgive. The sets and lighting are so bold and in your face that it really feels like it’s set somewhere other than ‘real life’. It seems to us that people are most creative when they have less to work with, and we find ourselves personally drawn to simple ideas that are done with style and care. We wanted to create something very simple and to show who we are, performing as individuals, shot in one take on 16mm film .”  Watch “How Are You Gonna Lose?” here

Bad Sounds have developed a reputation for their energetic and creative live shows — they turn the room into a massive party. That was evident last week as the band played their first ever dates in the US, conquering SXSW with shows that got audiences up to the front of the room and dancing throughout their set. Next week the band hit the road as direct support for Broods . Those shows kick off March 26 in Santa Ana , CA and conclude in Washington , DC on April 20 . Along the way they stop in Los Angeles on March 27 for a show at The Fonda and hit NYC ’s Irving Plaza on April 18 . All dates are listed below.
