Marco XO (fka Otown Marco) Shares ‘MARS’ from Upcoming Album LUNA & Announces Official Name Change

Marco XO is thrilled to share the first single ‘MARS’ from his upcoming album LUNA and share with fans his official name change from Otown Marco.

Speaking on the switch, Marco notes, “It’s more of a change in perspective, rather than a change of names. Otown always drew me to my hometown, but I wanted my name to stand for more than just that. Creatively, I want Marco XO to conceptualize ‘self-love.’ I want to remind myself, and my fans, that in order to grow and learn from mistakes, to give and receive love from others, you have to master self-love first.”

‘MARS’ is the perfect introduction to Marco XO’s new creative mindset. His vivid lyricism takes listeners to a fantasy dimension, pairing witty bars with a cleverly crafted punchy beat. ‘MARS’ is the first single from Marco XO’s upcoming album LUNA

Marco XO’s journey into music was kickstarted at the age of just 16 upon the release of his widely supported single ‘FLOWCAINE.’ Blessing his projects with a distinct storytelling style, Marco’s follow up release ‘Money Man’ and the 2015 EP Blue December scored similar success, catapulting the multifaceted musician into the spotlight.

Embarking on a variety of performances at A3C Hip-Hop Festival and SXSW’s SoundCloud x Twitter House, Marco XO has shared stages with the likes of Joey Bada$$, Tory LanezLil Durk, and many more. He recently opened for Oliver Francis’s Overdrive Tour with Big Baby Scumbag and performed at the 2018 Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles and Miami. Next up, Marco XO will be performing at the Passion of the Weiss x Rosecrans Ave SXSW showcase – Don’t Come To LA – on March 15th. He will then be playing at Miami’s acclaimed Rolling Loud festival in May.

Marco XO continues his meteoric rise with new single ‘MARS’ set to release March 8th.
