Up-and-coming Electro-Pop duo, Butcher & the Florist have released their debut track, Ordinary Love. This dance ready track is layered with gritty synths and rich vocals; it’s the perfect blend of light and dark.
The duo is comprised of Kendel Lester and Jody Miller, who met 6 years ago at a music video shoot for another project and realized they had an immediate connection. They formed Butcher & the Florist in 2018 wanting to branch out from their rock roots and explore new sounds. Their music blends trap beats and indelible pop hooks to create songs that feel personal and direct.
Ordinary Love is the first song to be released from the new project and it’s already finding great success. The song is produced by Nashville great, Taylor Franklyn and local favorite Matthew Dougherty with an accompanying music video by the powerhouse production company, Exhibit 91.
The duo is already gearing up for their next release out in April. Don’t miss out on this exciting new act exploding out of Chicago.
