London based electronic pop artist Salt Ashes has announced the release of her new single “Don’t” which follows last November’s spectacular video for “Go All Out”, a nod to Tim Burton’s cult classic ‘Beetlejuice’, as well as a recent collaboration titled ‘On Repeat’ with London based producer Laibert. Speaking of the track, Salt Ashes says
“I wrote the song with Jon Allen in one of those studio sessions where you spend the day counselling each other and then end up writing a song about it in the final hour. It’s my anti-love song and confession to a guy that I was seeing. I told him from the start that I didn’t want anything serious but he ended up wanting more and not believing that I didn’t too. I’m not looking for love right now. I had a big love and that fucked up so I’m not ready to go through another for that one to fuck up too.”
Salt Ashes is currently in the studio working on new music and preparing for her upcoming live show for Apple at their flagship London store in Regent Street on 15th March.
