Run Run Run is a paean to how quickly life can change and, in some ways, ironically an invocation to slow down. It is intended as a reminder that some truths are borne from stillness, inspired by moments of reflection during a year of touring all over the world. “It’s much easier to give oneself the illusion of renewal by rushing things” Fabrizio explains, “it’s much harder to stand still and read what our own soul has to tell us; the answer is deep down where motion will only make it fuzzier and more unclear”. Under Your Face explores Fabrizio’s relationship to his homeland, and how he relates to it in terms of his self-perception and identity. Musically Run Run Run/Under Your Face showcases Fabrizio’s stunning, rich voice, and his talent for mature yet accessible, narrative acoustic music. Fans of Ben Howard, Benjamin Clementine and Bear’s Den will appreciate Fabrizio’s songcraft and vibrant delivery.

Following the widespread critical acclaim for Of Shadows, Fabrizio has performed many headline tours, as well as support shows with luminaries such as Villagers, Damien Rice and Paper Kites; showcase appearances at SXSW and Great Escape; and performances at festivals with Berlin choir Cantus Domus. The special performances with Cantus Domus were recorded, and tracks from the concerts were featured on a deluxe version of Of Shadows. For the recording of Lights Fabrizio worked again with long-time collaborator, the acclaimed producer Dani Castelar (Paolo Nutini, Editors, REM) between Studio Indigo in Palermo, Sicily and Barxeta in Valencia, Spain.
