INTERVIEW: Kolten Kirschke

Kolten Kirschke was born in Sherman, Texas. As a natural entertainer, Kolten started his training in the industry at age 5. After his first local commercial, he found a love for the camera. Kolten continued strengthening his skills in acting, singing, and dancing. You can see Kolten in Future Man, starring Josh Hutcherson, directed by Seth Rogen and feature films like Magic Max. He is also in several major commercials (Kidz Bop, Ford), print campaigns, and industrials.

When not working, Kolten dances for a non-profit organization called Tru Crew and supports the anti-bullying campaign for youth today. He loves soccer, playing with friends, and enjoys singing across Texas. Some of his favorite hobbies include remixing music, playing the piano, and competitive dance.

Kolten is also an independent pop artist. He has starred in multiple music videos, and will release his debut EP in Spring of 2019. He works closely with Nashville/Los Angeles producer, Zak Lloyd and songwriter Mary Simmons. His new single, PICK YOUR LIFE drops today and has the potential to be this year’s Spring Break anthem.

We caught up with the music industry’s latest break-out star in Dallas while he was on-location shooting an indie film which provided a fantastic backdrop for our exclusive interview.

Tell our readers about your new single?

This single has a great message for so many today. Life can be tough, there are so many people telling you how to do it, who you need to look like, how hard you need to work, but it can take away the joy of just being you. Listen to yourself, enjoy the journey, and PICK YOUR OWN LIFE

* Is a full album on the way?

Yes! You can expect lots of new music soon, working on that right now with Mary Simmons (Marygold) and Zak Lloyd in Los Angeles. I’m blessed with such an amazing team and excited to share what we have been working on.

* If you could do a track with another artist — who would it be with and why?

There are so many artist I would love to do a track with maybe someday you never know. I’ve trained with a lot of artist my age in the industry so that would be a good start for me. It would be awesome to get the chance to collaborate, catch up, and have fun at the same time!

* You have other projects — tell us about them.

There is always a project in the works as an entertainer! Right now I’m filming a television crime show in Dallas, Texas. Just started working on my second ep with my amazing music producer Zak Lloyd, and you can catch me soon on a popular game show so stay tuned!

* Where can our readers connect with you?

* Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully in 10 years I’ll still be doing what I love with alot more experience. As an entertainer my goal is to share my gifts with the world, to be an inspiration and empowers others everyday.
