GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® nominated Colombian Reggae band, Locos Por Juana, premiere the new title track and video from their upcoming reggae album, “Crazy for Jane,” with GRAMMY® nominated band Common Kings. “Crazy for Jane” is available on all digital and streaming platforms. Locos por Juana is due to release their new album titled, “Crazy for Jane,” later this year. Going back to their roots and musical influences, Locos por Juana created a pure, fun reggae album inspired by reggae legends Bob Marley, Freddie McGregor, Israel Vibration, and others. Itawe, the band leader, expresses, “We got into the reggae vibes! Locos has always done fusions of reggae, but this time around we wanted to keep it pure.”
On the collaboration with Common Kings on the new single, “Crazy for Jane”, the band’s unanimous reaction is: “ It was an amazing experience to collaborate with Common Kings. Their South Pacific roots and West Coast style reggae has such a great feel, and their energy and sound has such a connection with our music. We instantly became brothers.” Common Kings adds, “It was an honor to get a call from Locos por Juana to add some SoCal vibes to their fire track!!”
The upcoming release “Crazy for Jane,” will be accompanied with a video directed by Fred Vogel, and produced by Tony González, Julien Díaz and Fred Vogel. Set against the backdrop of beautiful Miami, Locos por Juana’s hometown, the new video captures the freedom and good feelings exuded by both artists and highlighting the song’s surfing reggae vibes. The band reflects, “Crazy for Jane is a playful love song dedicated to the person or thing(s) that makes us go Crazy!!!”
The highly anticipated forthcoming album, “Crazy for Jane,” was recorded at Studio 26 in Miami.
