Deafheaven Release New Song “Black Brick”

Today, GRAMMY-nominated metal band Deafheaven release a new song titled “Black Brick.” The track is a B-side from their latest album Ordinary Corrupt Human Love. While Ordinary Corrupt Human Love was lauded for its avant-garde approach, “Black Brick” sees Deafheaven performing at their heaviest yet.

Currently, Deafheaven is on tour in Australia and New Zealand. Immediately upon their return to the States Deafheaven will join Baroness for a co-headlining North American run. Beginning March 8 in Houston, TX at White Oak Music Hall and will end April 12 in New York at Terminal 5. Zeal & Ardor will open all the shows. Additionally Deafheaven will join Gojira for a string of dates in June. The band will also be making appearances at Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest, Bonnaroo, and Psycho Fest.

Deafheaven’s latest album Ordinary Corrupt Human Love was released on Anti- in 2018. The band received their first GRAMMY nomination for their extraordinary song “Honeycomb” in the Best Metal Performance category. Ordinary Corrupt Human Lovereceived wide critical acclaim from Pitchfork, Stereogum, Billboard, NPR, Decibel, Revolver, Noisey, Consequence of Sound, Loudwire, Uproxx and more.
