“Events can leave an emotional stain on a place, ‘Heal’ is about trying to live with those ghosts.”  TARANTINA

TARANTINA’s debut London headline show will be at The Slaughtered Lamb on April 6th. Tickets on sale now fromhttps://www.alttickets.com/tarantina-tickets

Last year TARANTINA continued to tour with Leftfield as lead vocalist, as well as touring her own music as part of Nadine Shah’s curated tour for Independent Venue Week. She has recently been awarded funding from the PRS Foundation’s Women Make Music fund and in December she performed her single ‘Reeling’ live with her band on BBC Radio’s ‘Loose Ends’ with Clive Anderson and Sara Cox alongside Jon Hopkins.

Tarantina blends fine art processes and pop culture with a DIY aesthetic to make accompanying videos akin to moving pieces of audiovisual art. Raised between two juxtaposing worlds, her mother’s house filled with Portishead and Leftfield (who she’s been touring the world with over the past year as their lead vocalist), and the home of her father with Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, Tarantina is a product of these opposing influences with a staunchly avant-garde twist.
