OTIS SIMPSON shares powerul visual for debut release ‘Army’

Following an extensive background performing at venues across London and being shortlisted for Best Urban Act at the Unsigned Music Awards last year, rising UK soul artist Otis Simpson, drops his first official release ‘Army’.

The first offering from his forthcoming EP, ‘Army’ comes co-produced by a team of talented producers, showcasing a throwback, modern-tipped Soul sound, both emotive and vivid. Contributors include Jonny Coffer and Johnny Dunne, who between them boast an impressive number of nominations and charting figures for their work with artists including Beyonce, The Foo Fighters and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of muses – from Michael Jackson to Prince to The Beatles – the rising artist has been busy in the studio perfecting his sound, the result being a fresh new project that will underline his credentials – reminiscent to the talents of singer-songwriters Anderson Paak and MAJOR. Get ready to hear a lot more from this impressive new talent in 2019.

The visual for ‘Army’ follows the release of Otis’ debut single, with the video seeing him take centre stage in a commanding manner to deliver forward his message of intent. Watch here
