Alternative Electronic-Pop Artist Sciarra Releases New Single “Back For More”

Sciarra is an electronic-pop artist based in Los Angeles and originally from Anaheim, CA. She is releasing her first single “Back For More” after a hiatus in 2018 to reinvent her project. After her last release, she decided she was not happy with the music she was making and wanted to make a change. At the time, she was writing music for TV shows such as Shadowhunters, The Originals, among others which lead her to fall in love with the dark cinematic sound. “The sound wasn’t really new to me as I have always loved the dramatic music in movies that always takes you somewhere new. I also grew up listening to orchestral music and often found myself drawn to dark emotional chords” Sciarra explains.

This release will be moving towards electronic-pop with a dark and cinematic style. The song features ethereal vocals accompanied by dark, cinematic undertones and catchy melodic hooks. This is just the beginning of an exciting new direction for Sciarra who previously released several pop-dance records. She hopes to bring more truth to music and reflect more of what is going on in the world through her songs. Sciarra explains “This release is both scary and exciting at the same time. I am much happier with this direction and it feels like the right time to make a change. The song is about a toxic relationship that you don’t want to let go of and know that no matter how complicated the situation gets that they will keep coming back unless you let them go. But you are too selfish to do the right thing. I have found myself in this exact situation and hope others can relate as well”
