This “earth” section of the EP, entitled “gravitational,” reveals a fun and upbeat new side to the multi-faceted artist and musician. This intriguing track showcases Chandler’s powerhouse vocals, bold and sassy personality, and versatility in sound and gifted songwriting ability. Through her unique melodies over infections beats and rhythms, “gravitational” shares a light hearted and youthful perspective on unrequited love and getting caught in someone’s “orbit.”
This track follows the first two singles: firey “burning sage” (which debuted on Spotify’s New Music Friday in 3 Countries) and the cooling “tidal wave” (which debuted on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, and hit #1 on the Hype Machine Twitter Charts). Through her music, Chandler pens her unique story of being born and raised in the big city of Los Angeles, and staying for the dream and pursuit of music, while letting go of adolescence.
Now a college graduate from the Film Department at California State University, Northridge, the Los Angeles native is combining her passion for film and songwriting to create visual accompaniments for each of her four original songs that make up her EP, “elements”: fire, water, earth, and air.
Chandler is a voice for millennials and DIY artists alike in this new, confusing age of music and the new music model. Honing her passion for music and film, she is leading the charge on creating all facets of her art for this conceptual music project, and many more songs, films, and art pieces to come in 2019.
Keep an eye out for the “elements” EP and accompanying visual EP, out everywhere digitally on March 22nd, 2019.
