Long Beach based indie rock group Fellow robot announce pre-order for upcoming split with Bundy

Fellow Robot have just launched a vinyl pre-order for their upcoming split 7” with fellow Long Beach locals, Bundy, via Donut Sounds Record Co. The limited-run 4 song EP will feature two new tracks and two bonus tracks. Fans will receive a free download of the split upon pre-order and the EP will be formally released in the beginning of April.

In further news, the band has announced a special string of residency performances at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach set for April. The shows—every Wednesday in April—will serve as record release parties for both the upcoming split and full-length sophomore album, The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 2, which drops on April 24th. The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 2 features current single, “Don’t Deny Me.” The band revealed the album artwork for Vol. 2 recently here.

The band will be performing songs from the forthcoming record live on Wonk, Inc’s YouTube channel on February 19th, alongside Ellen Warkentine. The stream can be accessed here at 7PM PST on the 19th.

Fellow Robot released their debut album The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 1 last Summer via Seattle vinyl imprint Donut Sounds Record Co. The band celebrated the vinyl release of the dystopian concept record with a packed show at Fingerprints in Long Beach. Album cut “Clone Baby,” was also featured in blogger American Pancake’s year end list of “110 Fav(orite) Songs of 2018.” Fans can order The Robot’s Guide to Music Vol. 1 on vinyl here.
