Australian production designer Fiona Crombie received a British Academy of Film and Television Award for Best Production Design in London this evening for her work on The Favourite.
“Thank you BAFTA. We are truly honoured to be recognised by our peers. Thank you to the loves of my life Pete, Oona, Orlando, and Donald and Judith Crombie,” says Crombie.
Crombie was nominated for the accolade alongside John Myhre for Mary Poppins Returns; Stuart Craig for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald; Nathan Crowley for First Man; and Eugenio Caballero for Roma.
She is also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Production Design, and previously received an Art Directors’ Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design in a Period Feature Film. Currently, Crombie is working on The King for David Michôd, scheduled for release in 2019.
