PREMIERE: Slutty Hearts Releases New Music Video For “The Devil and Me”

Portland’s favorite dark (and also murdery) indie pop rockers Slutty Hearts established themselves as craft masters with their 2014 EP Bones In The Snow. With consistently lilting rhythms and noir-style lyrics, it wasn’t hard to pinpoint the cause for intrigue.

With their latest video for “The Devil and Me” charismatic front-woman Marisa Laurelle takes lead as she dances around the urban river bank guarding a dark secret. The sinister tone of the video speaks very much to the overall aesthetic of the band in the best way possible. Have a look at the video below.

In regards to what’s coming up next, the band comments “We are heading into the studio in Spring to record our 6th album! Every album is slightly different , this one is dreamy spaghetti goth pop with sinister 60’s influences.”

If you happen to be in the Pacific Northwest, you can catch the band live in the coming months on the following dates:

*February 16th at Montavilla Station (with Girl Drink Drunks and Pink Tornado)

*April 19th at Kenton Club with  Fur Dixon’s new band, WTFUCKASHIMA(previous members of The Sonics and The Cramps), and The Viles

*April 28th at Lovecraft with Fox Medicine
