‘Jika’ is the new, hotly tipped single from South African hip-hop superstar AKA. Known in the music world for his radio and club sensations, he is back with a new, slick production overlayed with his distinctive, powerful vocals. AKA says, ‘After the highly successful run of my latest single “Fela In Versace”, my next single, produced by Nigerian producer Kiddominant is a story of love or maybe your first crush. “Jika” tells a story of that exhilarating feeling you have when you realised that someone holds a special place in your heart.’

Bad boy AKA, also known as The Supa Mega is thought by most to be the best rapper in Africa. Touch My Blood, his most recent album, was certified Platinum in South Africa and led AKA to be global recognised, with award nominations for Best International Act (Africa) at the BET Awards & MOBO Awards and Best African Act at the MTV EMA’s. AKA has won support from Huff Post, GQ,Pulse, Daily Sun, The Raw Africa. He has been recognised by Hot97’s Breakfast host DJ Ebro as one of the top up & coming artists to look out for, alongside the likes of Jorja Smith, Buddy and Ella Mai. AKA has been interviewed by the legendary Sway Colloway in the‘Sway In the Morning’ Show, winning him new fans and further media support. His unique stage presence led AKA to open for global superstars such as for Kanye West, Snoop Lion, Rick Ross, 2Chainz and Big Sean on their South African tours, perform on SXSW 2018 and the renowned Essence Music Festival, as well as making a special appearance on W Live South Africa. Last but not least,AKA is the only African artist who works with Reebok Classics as an ambassador and in early 2018, he launched his own brandedvodka, CRUZ by AKA, with a special Watermelon flavour, selling out in the first two weeks of its release.
