American Authors Release New Single, “Stay Around”

Today, Brooklyn-based multi-platinum group American Authors, released the fourth track, “Stay Around,” off their long-awaited third studio album, Seasons, due out February 1, 2019, via Island Records. This track conveys the message of pursuing a relationship with the one you love while tending to a guarded heart, as the chorus sings, “when you see me at my worst, I hope you stay around”. 

The first single off the album, “Deep Water” released May 2018 has garnered over 16 million streamsand has been featured in TV shows such as FOX’s 911 and ABC’s The Good Doctor. Following “Deep Water” came the stomping gospel-infused “Say Amen” in November featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Billy Raffoul. The heavenly, hypnotic song’s corresponding visuals have curated over 5 million views and hit #3 on YouTube’s trending videos. Also included on the album is “I Wanna Go Out”, which has been featured in a T-Mobile campaign and the Lego Ninjago movie promos.
