Vudu Records start the year with a bang

Coming in the form of a one-two punch, Brighton-based imprint Vudu Records are kickstarting their 2019 release campaign with a duo of hard-hitting tech-house rollers. After relaunching the label last year, label owners MDE are keen to keep the music coming and with that in mind, they’re starting the year as they mean to go on. Ukrainian DJ and producer Papa Marlin has released on Vudu’s sister label Zulu Records as well as Delicious, MOOVED, Monotonik Cutz and many more. Now he’s bringing two new productions to the table in his ‘Screamer’ EP.

Already receiving big support and plays from Prok & Fitch, Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine, No Requests and many more, this EP is a must have for the January parties.

Title track ‘Screamer’ has a relentless groove that ploughs forward through its deep rolling bassline. With long build-ups and big room drops scattered throughout this one will get the place moving in no time at all. Next up is ‘Oxy,’ another gnarly bass-heavy record that keeps the energy at maximum levels. Another driving, hands-in-the-air production from Papa Marlin that solidly brings the EP to a close.

If there was ever a way to shake off the January blues, this is it. Vudu Records yet again show their unique ability to pick out the freshest underground sounds around. ‘Screamer’ is here.
