PREMIERE: Steve’s 9th Incarnation Returns With ‘Doggie’

As we wrap up another premiere week, we have the awesome guys of Steve’s 9th Incarnation returning with their latest single “Doggie,” a song that dives into the darker, much dramatic corners – a musical score that definitely doesn’t fit with the much fun song title.

About the song, Steve Head comments:

Doggie is my favourite piece of music from this record, and is the second half of a long rumination split over sides 1 and 2.

The piece is an instrumental documenting Doggie (a former girlfriend’s toy dog, now lost)’s latter-day life, which I like to think is a dreamy journey through space and time, soundtracked by Wurlitzer, clarinet, violin and tape delay.
