Previous singles, ‘Underwater’ and ‘Your Arms’, earned her early support from key Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ and key Finnish influencers, with heavy rotation from the largest Finnish tastemaker radio Yle X.

Describing her new single, Sofia explains, “my inspiration is drawn from Soul and older Americana to produce modern bangers that I guess can be categorised as pop music. In the way I write, the songwriting process takes precedence over the production – keeping it soulful & organic. Human first!”

With ‘Domino’ being her international debut, there’s not much to know about Sofia, but her effortless honeyed vocals and honest lyricism reveal a mature songwriter able to express her most intimate feelings. Somewhere between Billie Eilish haunting ballads, Khalid’s pop-inflected R&B and Anne-Marie’s truth-telling, Sofia is on the right path to becoming the next Nordic-pop sensation.

‘Domino’ gives us a small window into Sofia’s creative personality. She might just getting started, but her debut EP set for release in 2019 will cement her status as a bonafide songwriting talent.
