Collaborating once again with local VR/AR artist SUTU – who created the animated ‘Starlight’ single artwork – the video incorporates the cover art’s captivating visuals*

Speaking on the video, SAFIA say; “At its heart ‘Starlight’ is a song about letting go, all the creative choices represent that sentiment so we wanted to create a video that continued on with that theme. For this reason, we wanted to make something that was world building and indicative of the song’s journey. Hopefully, this cosmic visual journey created will encourage you to get lost in the world of ‘Starlight’.

Their recent ‘Starlight tour featured fellow Canberran Genesis Owusu as main support on all dates and marked SAFIA’s first headline tour since their sold out national album tour in 2016.

The band made their debut appearance in China at Shanghai’s Concrete & Grass Festival a few months back and they will be heading back there for their first ever headline tour this week.

SAFIA have also been on a raft of recent festival line ups including This That, The Grass is Greener, and a headline slot for Corona Sunsets, with Beyond the Valley and Origin Fields still to come. A firm festival favourite, always delivering “a winning festival set” (The Music), their recent Splendour performance saw them pack out the Mix Up stage and gather rave reviews from media and fans alike.

Immerse yourself in the ‘Starlight’ video and then head along as the band farewells 2018 with their unforgettable live show at Beyond the Valley and Origin Fields.
