LA rock/post-hardcore band The World Over has teamed up with Alternative Press for the release of their new music ideo “Rewind/Replay.” Frontwoman Tiaday Ball (granddaughter of musician and entrepreneur Ernie Ball) wrote the track about the loss of her father and the rollercoaster of emotions that came with his abrupt passing.
“We had a very close relationship,” Ball says. “I could tell him anything; he was my shoulder to cry on any time I needed him, and we got along so well. So as you can imagine, as hard as it is to lose a family member suddenly, this one really took a toll on me and forced me to grow up very fast.”
Alternative Press says “With eccentric rock rhythms reminiscent of Ice Nine Kills and New Years Day, the World Over are set to give new perspectives to the rock scene with the song’s touching personal story.“
