Pussyliquor Announces EP Launch Show & Share Video

Brighton punk/riot grrrl group, PUSSYLIQUOR are set to launch their new EP at a special London show at The Five Bells in New Cross on Friday the 14th of December 2018.

The ‘What Of It’ EP, recorded with Marc Waterman and mixed by Oliver Wright, is released on their own Revulva Records and features  ‘Lady Wank’,  ‘C.U.NT. and lead single ‘My Body My Choice’.

The follow up to their debut ‘PUSSYLIQUOR’s 7inch WONDER’ EP, the three new songs were written while the band were on their degree courses with Access To Music where the five like minded souls bonded over a passion for hard-core music and even harder core feminist beliefs.

The new EP launch night is in conjunction with 5.18 Magazine and will also feature a live set from London artist Starsha Lee who has just recently released her own ‘Plausible Hate’ EP on Syndicol Music.

All door money and zine sales will be split between Stonewall UK and The Albert Kennedy Trust.

Live the PUSSYLIQUOR line up of Ari Black (Vocals), Victoria Lewis Piper (Drums), Hannah Villanueva (Guitar), Tallulah Turner-Fray (Bass) and Lucy Priddle (Guitar) are a force to be reckoned with. Their no nonsense and in your face approach conjures up the feeling and energy of Cosey Fanni Tutti, L7 and The Slits. Five switched on young women – average age of twenty – fighting a cause, hoping that their music will empower other young women to come out from the shadows and celebrate what it means to be a woman.

LIVE DATES:

DEC 14TH   5.18 MAG X PUSSYLIQUOR, THE FIVE BELLS, LONDON

DEC 28TH   THE PRINCE ALBERT, BRIGHTON (w/ Peter & The Test Tube Babies)
