PREMIERE: KiNG LLAMA Release New Music Video For “Chinese Padlock”

Keeping up with another exciting premiere day, we are bending genres altogether as we team up with the incredible guys of KiNG Llama for the premiere of their new music video for their single “Chinese Padlock,” a song and video that captures to perfection the carefree, experimental twists and turns the band has come to be known for.

About the song, Ryan Bailey comments:

“This single is an evolution of our approach, and a fresh transition between albums.  It was rhythmically inspired by James Brown’s 1963 album, Live at the Apollo, and the funk aspect of this tune keeps the heads bobbing nicely.”

KING LLAMA is a unique fusion of instrumental music, encompassing elements of Progressive Rock, Jazz, and Funk.

The music is a blend of many moods, with clever grooves, changes, and polyrhythms. Guitarist Ryan Bailey, bassist Nico Staub and drummer Luis Briones create an original sound that is highly stimulating to the open mind.

Recent touring has brought their music to festivals such as Summercamp, Progtoberfest, and many other venues across the United States, Mexico and South America. 2018 finds the band ready to hit the road again.
