Skinny Living make a welcome return with brand new song ‘I Still Love You’ released on November 30th through Altas-Artists (Celeste, Rachel Chinouriri) Simplistic in nature but beautiful in its simplicity, listen to ‘I Still Love You’ HERE –https://soundcloud.com/skinnylivinguk/i-still-love-you/

Speaking about the new song, front man Ryan Johnston explains; “This song is nothing more than a love song, it was first written with the intent to say “I love you” but through the process of writing, it became a song reaching out through the pain and challenges of a testing relationship to attempt to put into words unconditional love. It shows a want for a moment of peace within the madness, a need for recognition that neither are getting any younger and a request to put the past aside. Not to forget it but to forgive it and attempt to restore some of the passion lost by dark times.

The guitar tone is warm and distinctive, mirroring the emotion and soul of the vocal. Releasing a live version of this song was really important to us because it gives the performance freedom from the restriction of time and let’s it’s unique structure move naturally with the classic instrumentation which in its self was a conscious decision so not to muddy up the sentiment and direct nature of the lyric.”

Skinny Living recently announced an extensive UK and Ireland headline tour for March 2019. The 11-date tour includes dates at Whelan’s – Dublin, King Tuts – Glasgow, The Deaf Institute – Manchester and Omeara – London, to name a few. Ahead of the tour they will play a huge hometown show (1000 capacity) at Warehouse 23, Wakefield on December 21st. Tickets on sale now from www.SkinnyLivingUK.com.

Skinny Living’s story is one of struggle, troubling situations and relentless hard graft. It’s also one of synchronicity, chance meetings, and unflinching belief that their glorious acoustic soul – with its echoes of Bill Withers and Paolo Nutini – will out.

Streaming at over 1million listeners a month across all DSPs, their single ‘Why’ has had over 12+ million streams alone. BBCRadio 1 have supported ‘Why’ and most recent single ‘Fade‘, with multiple daytime plays. The stunning video for their track ‘Let Me In’ has had over 1.8m+ on YouTube. It features two dancers, one signing the lyrics to the track, resulting in a really stirring performance piece. They performed ‘Why’ on ITV ‘The Weekend’.

Media support for Skinny Living has come by way of NMEWonderland, CLASH, Spindle, SBTV, The Mahogany Sessions and many more. They have also featured in two global campaigns with STA Travel. The second saw them travelling the USA playing Sofar Sounds sessions, whilst the journey was documented.
