INTERVIEW: Hanz Gable

Hi Hanz, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

I’m fine I thank god for everything.

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “I’ll Drink To That”?

The feedback for drink to that is amazing Djs love it people love it just makes people have a good time it’s a record that crosses over to the street side and the dance side.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

I was at a party and I was with a group of people and i heard someone say I drink to that and it just caught on it was like a catchy saying before they to a drink

How was the recording and writing process?

I recorded that record in one day it took me 2days to write the record.

What role does Brooklyn play in your music?

Brooklyn is my hometown everything starts from the roots Brooklyn plays a major role in my music.

Did growing up surrounded by Hip Hop from your brothers influence you to write music?

My older brother introduced me when I was 10 years old I heard mama said knock u out  that’s when i fell in love with hip hop.

How do you go on portraying such a dynamic spectrum of music styles?

My music styles just come to me naturally it all depends on the style of the beat the melody just comes to me any beat any style I can adapt to it that’s why u never know what I’m going to do next

What’s been like to work with Freedom Williams and how did that relationship develop?

I know freedom Williams for a while now since 2009 we have a great relationship we have a few records together

How much has he been influencing your record?

Freedom has influenced me a lot, and he was the one who introduced me to the dance world. I learned a lot from him.

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes I do Go on the road from time to time hopefully soon I will be on my own tour.

What else is happening next in Hanz Gable’s world?

after this drink to that record I’m ready to drop my next record called light it up featuring freedom Williams up tempo  record party record I’m just gonna keep dropping these singles and then I will drop an EP.
