NYC’s own Tigers & Monkeys have just dropped a trippy new music video for their single “Magic Marker” which is the 7th track off their recently released album Saturday Destroyer! Directed by Graham Mason and shot in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, the video depicts Shonali Bhowmik and Jason Lam singing wistfully into the camera layered with hazy light effects.

Shonali comments, “Through the use of lens flares, smoke, mirrors, psychedelic filters and fire, director Graham Mason who was inspired by 70’s TV performances created a Tigers and Monkeys’ rock n’ roll Dusty Springfield meets Black Sabbath videoscape.  Viewers should not miss the ending!  The song itself is about a forgotten woman who suffers from mental illness and drug addiction but still manages to find love during her lifetime. “
