18 year old, Triple threat singer-songwriter-producer Sophie Rose has written over 500 songs, collaborated with the likes of Steve Aoki, Charli XCX, Louis the Child, Serayah, Sam F, & is currently signed to a publishing joint venture between hit songwriter Ester Dean and Prescription Songs. Sophie’s songs have reached the Top 5 on Billboard charts, Top 40 at dance radio, and have been streamed over 20 million times.
Having written close to 500 songs, Sophie started writing at age 9, deeply inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry, she began performing at local events in California, then realising music was the path she wanted to take, she was homeschooled from age 10 so she could fully focus on music, she then graduated age 14 and signed her publishing deal, perfecting her craft, her main focus was writing for other artists including Serayah, QUIX, Bishu & Alex G.
In 2017 Sophie shifted her focus to her own music by releasing singles Two Young Lovers, Wavy and Limitless, Sophie amassed millions of streams, with her debut Two Young Lovers being streamed 50,000 times on the day of release and Taylor Swift added it to her favourite songs playlist on Apple Music, Spotify and more.
Limitless was featured in the Samsung Glaxy S8 campaign, although not the only TV exposure Sophie also had Aces High, a song she co-wrote on Fox’s Empire along with Attention being the theme song for Guidance on Hulu.
Sophie is a pure hearted artist, with a passion for creativity and helping others, charity work is close to her heart and she has been involved with Stand Up To Cancer, ACT Today!, Firefly Autism and Girls Rock SB. Her music is appealing for all, her latest single Pink Lipstick, is an upbeat pop anthem, with a much deeper meaning. Sophie says I wrote “Pink Lipstick” because I was inspired by the women’s movement. Female empowerment is a social issue that is very important to me, so I wanted to write a song that touches on the topic while still being fun and danceable.
Sophie Rose is a force to be reckoned with and this is only the beginning.
