Based in the United States’ cultural home of music, Nashville, Tennessee, andrews’ aka singer and songwriter Michael Cronin looks to take inspiration from all areas of his homeland’s music scene. Drawing in collaborations from a wealth of musicians over the years, the frontman now returns with his uplifting and ambitious new single ‘Lost In The Fire’, due out on the 16th November.
Following a flurry of pop-up live appearances throughout 2018, ‘Lost In The Fire’ aims to bring together a collage of influences to deliver one of his most euphoric releases to date. With notable comparisons to the likes of The War On Drugs, but with a more sultry twist, andrews’ unique eye for creating captivating indie-pop has seen the artist garner more than 15,000 streams on Spotify on his last single ‘Through The Night’, and more than 40,000 for his initial EP ‘Opera Pt.1’
Speaking about his latest single, the frontman added, “The song came from a place of realization that constantly wanting to escape whatever situation that I might be in probably isn’t the best idea and to learn how to really accept your surroundings for what they are at that time.”
Produced by Justin Amundred, ‘Lost In The Fire’ aims to capitalise on the poetic pop styling of his recent material and bring it to a far wider audience when he releases the second EP in his four-part project, ‘Opera Pt. 2’, very soon.
