Today, Los-Angeles based producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and emcee Calvin Valentine shares his video for the remix of “Bakery” featuring Chuck Inglish with LA Record. The original version of the track comes off of Valentine’s latest album Keep Summer Safe, a ten track collection released on September 14th which marked Calvin’s debut solo LP with Mello Music Group. The new video takes listeners on a vibrant, colorful trip through Calvin’s soulfully stoney flow and catchy verses. About the new video, he comments: “I wanted to do something special for the ‘Bakery’ video, so I had the idea of doing a remix. I linked with Chuck towards the end of Summer and he was the perfect addition for this song.”
Despite his youth, Valentine has already become a notable music veteran with an extensive repertoire, working with legends like De La Soul, Nas, Ryan Beatty,Bun B,Devin The Dude, Juicy J, Boogie, and Dilla’s younger brother, Illa J. The Eugene, Oregon native was a drummer starting at age 6, by 19 years old one of his early music projects includes drumming in band, Medium Troy and performing at Vans Warped Tour. In 2016, Valentine’s ten-track album Eugene was the first major stark declaration of his singular talent, setting the stage for the music he produces today.
