Lin-Manuel Miranda returns to introduce the month of November’s Hamildrop “Cheering For Me Now,” an original recording from the legendary American composer John Kander, who is most known for his work on the musicals Cabaret and Chicago, with lyrics by Miranda himself. The song is an original about New York’s ratification of the constitution. The latest Hamildrop is accompanied by a new visual which was shot at the Richard Rogers Theatre and stars Miranda as Alexander Hamilton for the first time since July of 2016.

“Cheering For Me Now” is serving as the second to last Hamildrop. Since its introduction in December of 2017, the Hamildrop series has produced two Hot 100 singles and multiple iTunes Top 10 hits while stretching across multiple musical genres and raising money for meaningful initiatives and non-profits including March For Our Lives and the UNIDOS Program. Fans can expect one more special Hamildrop release before the year’s end.
