CILVR Shares “Bound to Die”

Stockholm-based, independent artist CILVR was raised in a home of classical music and spent her childhood backstage in concert halls around the world. CILVR combines her organic influences with electronic elements and creates a fresh indie-pop sound of her own. Following up her debut single Hideaway is the brand new pop-record Bound To Die.

CILVR’s already off to a great start, with positive reactions from high-class blogs like Popmuzik, Scandipop, Born Music Online, Indietronica and Wonky Sensitive. Hideaway was also playlisted on Spotify’s New Music Friday Sweden, Sweden Viral Chart, Electrending, New Indie & Alt plus Fresh Finds: Hiptronix – all of which helped Hideaway accumulate over 60K streams on Spotify. CILVR also received radio support from French radio station TEEZ Radio.

Don’t be fooled by Bound to Die’s soft, dulcet intro – the bop quickly transcends into heavenly guitar melodies, staccato bass bounces and a slick pop beat coated with CILVR’s airy vocals, all of which reflects the up and down rollercoaster ride of a breakup.

Speaking on the motivation behind Bound to Die, CILVR explains:

Bound to Die was written in a small city in the North of Sweden. It’s about a breakup and the feelings you have when you’re trying to move on from something. The song paints a picture of the feeling when you’ve decided to separate but still need each other.”
