San Francisco alternative pop solo artist Eeri has premiered her debut single “Blackwater“. Formerly the front-woman of alternative rock band mistakes, Lauren Hudson has decided to take her career in her own hands.

“I wanted to pull away from the rock music I used to write and create more of a dark pop experience. I am starting to lean away from my heavily guitar driven music of the past and focus more on developing pop hooks and melodies. I had a vision for this project of expanding my artistic expression and not being defined by one thing. I put a lot more effort into building the elements of each song because every piece should reflect the story.”
