Dashboard Confessional has shared an official music video for “Just What To Say,” which is featured on the band’s 2018 LP Crooked Shadows. The closing track of the album, “Just What To Say” is quiet and reflective, finding Chris Carrabba looking inward in a way that feels deeply relatable. The song is about admitting and accepting flaws, but it’s also about embracing the better aspects of your own humanity. The Ryan Hamblin directed video is streaming now on Fueled By Ramen’s official YouTube channel.
Dashboard Confessional are currently in the middle of a U.K. headline tour with special guests Black Foxxes, which continues through November 20th (see itinerary below). Next month the band will head to Australia for a run of headline dates set to kick off December 5th at Adelaide’s HQ Complex. Tickets for all dates are on sale now. Crooked Shadows – the return of Dashboard Confessional and the band’s first new album in over eight years – is available at all DSPs andwww.dashboardconfessional.com. Produced by Chris Carrabba and Jonathan Clark with co-producer Colin Brittain, Crooked Shadows is the result of a near decade-long period of immense self-examination for Carrabba. Crooked Shadows explores Carrabba’s reclamation of the simple yet extraordinary moments in life thatlong stood as the unsung heroes of his songwriting, as he reflects on experiences of his own and those closest to him. The result is a deeply cathartic body of work that traverses the complications and vulnerabilities of relationships while scrutinizing the possibility of self-improvement.
