After building up some nice momentum for himself over the last several months, Los Angeles based producer Jynjohas teamed up with DÆMON for a bright and impressive original release, “Rain“.
His only original of the year, “Rain,” follows his cover of the Pussycat Dolls’ “Stickwitu” earlier this year, and a phenomenal NEST HQ MiniMix just a few weeks ago previewing his 2019 sounds. “Rain” is a fun and optimistic tune featuring groovy vocals from DÆMON backed by a smooth and bouncy house beat that makes you dream of summer. A teamwork effort through and through, “Rain” serves as the debut single for Terrell Carter under his new artist name DÆMON, launching during his return as a series regular playing Warren Hall in TV series Empire. The track’s lyrics paint a picture of two concert goers, excited and in love, arriving to dreary weather. Yet to them, “it’s just rain on us” — a message about letting the metaphorical “rain” of our lives go.
