Joakim Molitor Shares “Back to You”

Joakim Molitor is one of the best-kept secrets on the Swedish electronic dance music scene. The artist keeps evolving and giving us his very best every time he puts something out, whether as an original artist and producer, or as a remixer for others (The Rasmus, Eric Saade, Dragonette) and the same can be said for his latest output, Back to You.

After his big breakthrough on Spotify in the summer of 2017 with the catchy single Always Gonna Say Sorry, which has gained close to 11 million streams, Joakim struck while the iron was hot with Weightless, featuring Maia Wright, and the beautiful 4U featuring UK pop starlet Cher Lloyd (two million streams on Spotify) before the summer this year. Now it’s time for Joakim’s next phase with the release of the single Back to You.

For his newest single, Molitor teamed up with Robert Habolin (Girls’ Generation, Zara Larsson, Kim Wilde, FO&O, Erik Hassle) and production duo Sam Crow (Sam Crow’s additional production and final mixing of Icona Pop’s worldwide hit Get Lost helped the song amass over 18 million streams on Spotify). Safely in the hands of some of creative powerhouse TEN’s key talent (home of Zara Larsson, Icona Pop, Niki & The Dove and Benjamin Ingrosso) it’s no surprise that Back to You has that signature ‘international hit’ sound. At this rate, Joakim Molitor may not be the best kept secret in electronic dance music in Sweden for much longer.

Speaking on the background of Back to YouJoakim says:

Back to You is a powerful, uplifting and romantic tune about always being able to come back home safely to love no matter how messed up the world outside seems.”
