David Scott, Manchester’s cult Poet Laureate and producer, comes through with his debut music release “Frank” under the moniker ARGH KID – the brilliantly insightful and infectious first single from his upcoming debut album “Haven for Heathens” – out in March. Listen here
Produced at Manchester’s iconic Blueprint Studios and featuring the legendary Steve White (Paul Weller, Style Council) playing drums on the track, ARGH KID’s first foray into music is a bold and remarkably accomplished one.
Speaking on the track, ARGH KID states: “The song is based on people I know well. The business acumen of these so-called “lower classes” is never noticed – it takes proper bollocks and a business head to climb out of shitty surroundings with the threat of prison or worse hanging over your head. Who’s the bigger cunt? Someone that’s had nothing and makes a bit extra on the side to live better or a Tory-boy Tarquin that’s been fed Crème brûlée since birth and puts in bent expenses claims?”
