Hi Miss, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

I’ve been really well thank you, really excited about my latest release!

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “Done”?

My new single “Done” just came out last week and the official music video is out now too! I’m so excited as we recorded this song at the beginning of the year and I can finally share it with everyone.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

The single “DONE” was inspired about a past relationship and real experience.

How was the filming process and experience behind the video?

We had an amazing team so that really helped to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew their role. I was nervous but more thrilled to film my 1st ever music video, as I only filmed covers for YouTube before.

How was the recording and writing process?

My producer Israel Music sent me the beat while I was driving, so I started listening to it and writing straight away while driving, the beat was so punchy and powerful that the first thing that came to my mind was the word “DONE” I’m ready to move on and start a new life.. and it all went from there.

What was it like to work with Jay Papworth and how did that relationship develop?

I met Jay in 2014, we have a lot of mutual friends and was suppose to film that year but plans changed so I we finally got to work together this year! Yay!

How much did he get to influence the song?

I like to get hands on with the visuals of any of my songs, the ideas of the concept and the outdoor location theme came from me and my producer. The role that Jay played was to bring it to life.

What role does London play in your music?

London is my home, the songs I write, life experiences, the visuals in my latest music video were all filmed in London. Everything about london and the music scene inspires my music.

Does the new single mean we can expect a new material – how’s that coming along?

Yes! I am back to the studio next week to work finishing off a few more songs.

Watch the video here.
