‘Two Left Feet’ is the first track and visual from singer and storyteller Lewis Bootle’s forthcoming conceptual mini–album‘G A P S’ which isset for release on the 7th December 2018. Lewis’s story is carefully weaved throughout each track from the mini-album, explaining his concerns about technology playing such a role in and often dictating, modern relationships.
Presenting each track as a ‘chapter’ in the overall story, the multi – talented Bootle explains the meaning behind the first track as follows:
“Chapter I – Lewis is heading to a party which on social media looks like a good night. When he gets there the reality is very different. His friends are on their phones, not really communicating or having a good time. They can’t dance because they can’t look up from their screens”.
The track is accompanied by a joyous video by Servo Creatives, whichfeatures dancing that’s not been seen since the golden age of the Madness promo film!
Raised on a diet of The Clash, Jamie – T and Frank Ocean, this new young artist combines thought-provoking, no – nonsense lyrics with infectious pop melodies to great effect.
