Eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Deister is a man on a mission. Releasing today his new single “Strange Man,” the artist instantly entices with his honest music that will grab your attention from the start.
Deister says of the track:
“Originally the idea for “Strange Man” was a polytonal pop song. I wrote this simple pentatonic melody in a different key than the accompaniment, but, when I actually got to recording it, I was messing around with these bat and soda bottle recordings I had made previously. Those sounds, after being quite heavily manipulated, would come to make up every sound, other than the voice and percussion. Probably why it still comes off strange.”
Deister, who is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Piano Performance, blends various genres from Jazz to Alternative, as he introduces elements of artists such as Muse, Radiohead and Coldplay. Gearing up for his upcoming album release,. “Strange Man” is the perfect first look into the world of Deister. The follow up to his 2015 release “Spines of the Heart,” the new single has us excited for more new music from the artist. Gorgeous tones and heavenly vocals set the tone for his musical masterpiece, and we are eager for more!
