Inspired by a lack of inspiration LUPA wish to transpose the struggles one encounters when dedicated their life to achieving their dream. Touching on some of the more personal and relevant topics that we find ourselves interacting with through our lives, LUPA want to remind listeners that allowing passion to spearhead this process will result in success.
During a time of particular attrition seemingly perpetual cynicism, guitarist Timothy Jack stumbled across a guitar tone that brought connotations of nostalgic elation. The track was built around this sound, collating a mixture of uncompromising drums, superlative guitarwork and the animated vocals of frontwoman Livvy M. And all this is going on whilst the technical synth work allows the genre step towards drum and bass as the song unfolds.
Whilst adhering particular attention to both the compositional and arrangement aspects of this song, LUPA sought out a producer of renowned ability to do Until The Day justice. Backed by the consummate work of Abbey Roads producer Rob Cass, Until The Day’s calibre becomes irrefutable. Whilst the production work of film maker and MOBO award winning director Oliver Brian ensures the music video remains captivating throughout.
With a multitude of live performances under their belts, collaborations with some of the best producers and filmmakers within the industry and continued growth across a number of their social media accounts, LUPA are continuing to gain momentum and make an impact with the right demographic. Until The Day is set to release on the 12th of October 2018 across all major platforms.
